John Jenkins, USA Basketball
I got the opportunity to work with Micah in Nashville during my camp. I was fresh out of the season and needed to recover my body from a long 9 month grind. Micah came in and right away helped me with my range of motion and used other techniques to get me feeling fresh and ready for each offseason workout. I can’t thank Micah enough for the great work that week, he is great at what he does.

Dr. Wells expertise and experience has been a saving grace for me throughout my 6 years + of playing basketball professionally overseas. My most notable experience was when I had a severe right quadricep contusion and hematoma. Dr. Wells helped me understand how to properly take care of and manage my injury, as well as put together a rehab program for me and track progress of my recovery.

Makindé London, Professional Basketball Player in Italy and Australia
My experience with Micah was nothing short of ‘Top of the line’ training. I have been around several athletic programs. Coming off of a shoulder surgery myself, I was in desperate need of a physical therapist who understood athlete’s bodies. Micah not only was a great resource but also gave me great exercise to continue at home to help with the pain I had been feeling since surgery. After working with Micah, I noticed a huge shift in my mobility and strength. I am extremely grateful for The Micah Touch experience.

Micah is truly dedicated to his craft, you can easily see it by the quality of detail and attention he pays to each client. His personal approach is what makes him such an elite therapist.
As a professional athlete, I had a multitude of nagging aches and pains. Micah has helped with rehab and recovery process that has allowed me to get back on the court pain free. Thankful for the information that he has shared and relationship that we have built throughout the years.

Tammy Whyte, Running Coach and Marathoner
As a marathon runner, going to PT is often part of my routine to keep running injury-free, especially when I'm in my higher mileage weeks. Calf tightness has been an ongoing issue for me and I've found that dry needling usually helps to keep me going. I started going to Micah in 2018 for dry needling and it's been a lifesaver in keeping me running without pain. Micah is professional, efficient, and effective, and I always feel better after treatment with him.

Allison Lee, Triathlete
Micah was invaluable as a PT during our ultra-relay race. Despite working in a cramped and hectic environment (jostling around in the back of an RV with little to no sleep), Micah was calm, professional and attentive -- ensuring each athlete got the stretching and care they needed to perform at their best.

I first met Dr. Wells when I was seeking a solution for irritation in my high hamstring area and he helped me immensely. He took a great deal of time and care in my appointments; I felt he listened to me and he never rushed our meetings. His treatments were comprehensive and personalized. He employed several techniques to diagnose and treat my problem. Most importantly, he was able to help me course correct my training to keep me running and running injury free. I would highly recommend his services. His experience will get you back on your feet and help you STAY there.

Micah treats his work like a craft—he’s dedicated to continuously learning and improving his techniques to find what works best. His holistic approach to health means he understands how nutrition, strength training, and mental health all factor into his athletes’ wellness, and he fits physical therapy into that puzzle. Above all, Micah cares deeply about his patients and wants to see them succeed. I’m grateful for his constant encouragement and enthusiasm! I continue counting on him to help me become a better runner and highly recommend him to others!

Dr. Wells provides skilled, personal, and attentive treatment. Under his care and treatment, I was able to fully recover from a running injury and went from experiencing pain during short distanced runs to running a 19-mile race completely pain-free.
He’s an extremely knowledgeable therapist as he easily translated my complaints of pain and soreness into a treatment plan to effectively address the injury. He’s attentive and ensured I performed the exercises correctly. Dr. Wells takes time to answer questions and provided at-home exercises so I could stay active in my recovery. If you are looking for a PT, Dr. Wells is your guy!

I appreciate the attentiveness and thorough communication throughout our therapy sessions. If a concern or question is raised he addresses it right there on the spot and provides feedback during the sessions as needed. I also like how he takes time to demonstrate exercises that will improve my overall fitness performance when I leave the office. I for sure recommend The Micah Touch for all your physical therapy needs and sports performance maintenance.

Jessica Rios, Runner
I first went to Dr. Wells because I was coming off of a stress fracture and wanted to heal properly plus registered for several races in the spring. I not only wanted to heal but make sure I do not hurt myself like that again. I registered for several races in the spring and so with my first assessment, plantar fascitis was also contributing to my pain. With stretching guidance from him as well as 4 sessions of dry needling in my foot, not only was I able to run without pain but I was able to train and strengthen my legs and feet properly.

Scott Goldweber, Runner
Dr. Micah Wells in short, saved my running career. I am an avid long distance runner and with age, come injuries. I had IT band problems, chronic hamstring pain and shin splints. Through Micah's excellent approach of breaking down each issue into manageable and approachable recovery steps, I went from not being able to run 3 miles without intense pain to a half marathon with ease. He made each session fly (even the dry needling) with personal conversion and getting to know his patient beyond why they are seeking help. I highly recommend Micah for anyone who is seeking high quality and personalized care.

Jason German, Boxing Coach and Runner
The week of my first marathon my streak of an injury free training camp ended. A sore/tight quad had me rethinking my running plan a few days before race day. Dr. Wells was able to fit me into his schedule last minute and a combo of dry needling and massage saved my race day. He was also able to diagnose a chronic shoulder issue I had been dealing with as a result of my boxing training and prescribe a PT regime to elevate the issue. I highly recommend you check him so he can check you out.

Leslie Prado, Ironman Athlete
I first met Micah Wells when he joined our Speed Project running team, where six runners prepared to compete in a 340-mile desert relay from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. As a skilled physical therapist, he quickly became an integral part of our team, as he worked diligently with different elite bodies at different stages of fatigue to improve movement and manage pain, so that we continue the race. I continued to work with Micah while I was training for Ironman-distance triathlons to Bikini Competitions.

Jocelyn Gebhardt, Personal Trainer
I started working with Dr. Wells in October 2020 before I was scheduled to participate in the Under Armour "All Out Mile" race. I noticed my achilles was giving me pain, so knowing Dr. Wells' from other friends who have worked with him, I reached out. He was able to not only get me ready for the race, but I ran it pain free. As a business owner myself in the health & wellness industry, I know how important it is to listen to your body and seek help from professionals who are educated and experienced in their field. Dr. Wells is no exception. He is always sharpening his craft with education, workshops, certifications, etc. to be the best he can be. Should anyone I know need physical therapy, I will certainly refer him or her to Dr. Wells.

Chris Steinmann, Superintendent & CEO, Cleveland Lutheran High School Association
Micah Wells was the featured Commencement Speaker for Lutheran High School East in 2018. Micah's address to the graduating class was incredibly powerful. We are proud that Micah is an alumnus of Lutheran East, but his words would resonate with anyone. Micah is the whole package. He is undoubtedly gifted, but he matches those giftings with passion and tireless effort. That has led to incredible achievements. He then has the ability to inspire and build up others so that they can maximize their own personal gifts. Micah's natural charisma, eloquence, and passion for others shine like few other people I know.

Matthew Green, Co Founder of District Running Collective
I've had the pleasure of working with Micah over the last few years and he has been a huge resource to our entire DRC community. A lot of our members were experiencing so many running injuries and we did not have a go to source for services. Our community was really in need of help so everything really changed for the better when Micah came onboard as our go to Physical Therapist. He not only served as a one on one specialist but was also skilled enough to create workshops targeted to the needs of our runners. I can honestly say that Micah's professionalism and passion for taking care of people has greatly impacted the District Running Collective community in so many ways that we are still benefiting from to this day.
